LaserMax Secures WOSB 8(M) Certification Status
LaserMax today announced the completion of certification requirements for Small Business Administration’s new Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB) 8(m) program. The WOSB program aims to help Federal agencies meet government-wide small business contracting goals and give opportunities for WOSBs to compete for Federal contracts.
To qualify as an SBA WOSB 8 (m), a company must be at least fifty-one percent owned and controlled and managed by one or more women. The women must be U.S. citizens and the firm must be considered small according to SBA size standards.
